The Uniview GCB01-B7 Connect Box is a compact and versatile tool designed to streamline the installation and commissioning of Uniview (UNV) IP cameras. This portable device addresses common challenges faced during setup, such as modifying IP addresses, providing temporary power and network connectivity, and performing voltage detection, making it an essential accessory for security installers and technicians.

Measuring just 130mm x 85mm x 33mm, the GCB01-B7 is highly portable and easy to carry on-site. It features a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot that allows seamless connection to a smartphone using the UNV-Link Pro app. Through this connection, users can access the camera’s live view and settings directly from their mobile device, simplifying configuration without the need for complex wiring or additional equipment.

The Connect Box offers a comprehensive range of I/O ports for versatile functionality. It includes an On/Off switch and Reset button for easy control. Power options consist of a USB-A DC5V output (up to 1A/5W) to charge smartphones, a USB-C input (up to 2A/10W) for recharging the device itself, and DC12V input (testing between 1V and 56V) along with DC12V output (up to 1A/12W) to supply power to IP cameras during installation.

Networking capabilities are enhanced with 4x Ethernet ports, where Port 1 provides PoE output (up to 0.5A/12W) to power cameras directly, and Port 4 enables testing of external PoE device voltage. These features allow for quick troubleshooting and setup, reducing installation time and minimizing errors in the field.
