Description

The Hikvision DS-96256NXI-S16R is a 256-channel, 3U rack-mount network video recorder from the S series, built for large sites that need one recorder for hundreds of IP cameras. It accepts cameras up to 32MP, takes in up to 1280 Mbps, and drives an 8K monitor from its third HDMI output.

Sixteen drive bays take 3.5-inch disks of up to 20TB each, so the recorder holds up to 320TB before you add an eSATA drive. RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10, plus N+M hot spare, keep recordings safe when a disk fails, and the dual power supplies keep it running if one fails. On the recorder itself, AcuSense analytics handle facial recognition, perimeter protection and video structuralization, and AcuSearch finds people and vehicles across your footage. No hard drives are included: choose them from our surveillance hard drives.
