Description
Sixteen 8MP (4K) cameras on one recorder, for sites where you need to read a number plate or a face at a distance.
The DHI-NVR4216-16P-EI has sixteen PoE ports and two hard drive bays. Sixteen 8MP cameras fill drives quickly, so size the storage up and use both bays. Pick the hard drive size in the recorder’s own options.
About the camera: DH-IPC-HDW1839TP-A-IL-S6
8MP (3840 × 2160) in the same compact eyeball as the 6MP model. The extra resolution earns its keep at range: at 2.8 mm it will recognise a person at about 17 m and identify one at about 8.5 m.
Smart Dual Light keeps it on infrared until a person is detected, then brings in the warm light for colour. Both reach up to 30 m. It draws under 6 W on PoE, well inside what a standard 802.3af port supplies. A microphone is built in.
