Dahua 16 Camera 5MP Starlight Eyeball CCTV Kit with Audio Recording

Sixteen Starlight eyeballs on one Dahua recorder, for a yard or a warehouse where coax is already in place.

The DH-XVR5216AN-4KL-I3-16P records all sixteen at 5MP and has two hard drive bays. It is a PoC recorder, but these cameras run from the 12V supply in the kit, so turn PoC off on their channels in the recorder’s settings. Pick the hard drive size in the recorder’s own options.

An 18-way 20A lockable power box feeds every camera from one place. Dahua’s PFA130-E junction box is in the list if you want the cable joints out of the weather.

Starlight is Dahua's low-light imaging: a larger 1/2.7-inch sensor that holds a usable picture, and often colour, well into dusk before the infrared needs to take over. Rated at 0.001 lux, it records 5MP (2880 × 1620).

Once it is properly dark, Smart IR reaches up to 60 m, the longest throw of the cameras in our Dahua kits, and it dims as people come closer so faces do not wash out white. The quick-to-install pedestal makes mounting faster than a normal eyeball. A microphone is built in.
