Hikvision 4/8 Camera 3K ColorVu Turret CCTV Kit with Audio Recording

The simplest of our Hikvision analogue kits. Coax cameras that see in colour at night and record sound.

The cameras are DS-2CE70KF0T-LMFS turrets: 3K, ColorVu, 2.8mm lens, white housing, with a microphone. ColorVu here means a wide aperture and a soft white light that keep the picture in colour after dark. Set the light to auto for colour, or turn it off if it would bother the neighbours, and the camera works on infrared instead.

The recorder is the iDS-7204HQHI-M1/XT, or the 8-channel iDS-7208HQHI-M1/XT if you tick the upgrade. Both are AcuSense DVRs, which means the phone alerts come from people and vehicles rather than every moth that crosses the lens.

Pick a size in the hard drive list and we fit it and test it before the kit is sent. Junction boxes and cable are optional extras further down the list, so add them if you need them and skip them if you already have them.

About the camera: DS-2CE70KF0T-LMFS

A compact 3K turret, smaller and lighter than our hybrid-light model at Ø85 mm and 330 g. The 2.8 mm lens gives a wide 110° view, which suits a front door or a side passage.

It carries both infrared and a white light, each reaching about 20 m. Leave the white light on auto and the camera holds a colour picture after dark. Switch it off and the camera works on infrared like a conventional model, which is the polite choice if the light would shine into a neighbour's window. A built-in microphone records sound over the coax.

What is in the kit

The CCTV101 OEM Hikvision 3K mini turret kit is the budget alternative. Different range, different part numbers. This one is Hikvision-branded throughout.
