A straightforward Dahua HDCVI kit for coax. Strong infrared at night and sound on every camera.
The cameras are DH-HAC-HDW2501TMQP-A-S2 eyeballs: 5MP, Starlight, with a built-in microphone. Starlight is Dahua’s low-light sensor. The picture stays usable into dusk before the infrared takes over, and after dark it records in black and white. The housing is the quick-to-install type, white, with a 2.8mm lens.
The recorder is the DH-XVR5104HS-4KL-I3(V3.0), or the 8-channel DH-XVR5108HS-4KL-I3(V2.0) if you tick the upgrade. Both record these cameras at 5MP and use WizSense to sort people and vehicles from everything else. Pick the hard drive size in the recorder’s own options.
Power comes from a 12V 5A 4-way supply. Add a second one for eight cameras. Dahua’s PFA130-E junction box is in the list if you want the cable joints out of the weather.
About the camera: DH-HAC-HDW2501TMQP-A-S2
Starlight is Dahua's low-light imaging: a larger 1/2.7-inch sensor that holds a usable picture, and often colour, well into dusk before the infrared needs to take over. Rated at 0.001 lux, it records 5MP (2880 × 1620).
Once it is properly dark, Smart IR reaches up to 60 m, the longest throw of the cameras in our Dahua kits, and it dims as people come closer so faces do not wash out white. The quick-to-install pedestal makes mounting faster than a normal eyeball. A microphone is built in.
